“Rest and be thankful” William Wordsworth
“Red Tree” was photographed in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, N.Y.. We live in developing times: leaves change, people change, energies change. Life is moving by like the view from the express train barrelling through a station. How do we maintain our balance when we have such a long list and are trying to put the pedal to the metal? How can we embrace the good stuff, like joy, ease and inspiration? We can accomplish this by holding onto the things that we love and expressing our gratitude. Take some time this thanksgiving weekend to count your blessings. Just saying,”I am happy to be alive today to see this tree” feels very nice.
Simplicity is the key …… how often we forget that. I love this post. Everything you said is so well worth remembering! Hope you had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving!
Thanks Cleo! Let’s just keep those words coming!
