Parsley Ice Cubes are great trick to add oomph to your winter soups and stews. Bring the sunshine of summer into your winter kitchen with these easy to make flavor enhancers.
1 fresh bunch of parsely washed and corsely chopped
1/4 cup filtered water
ice cube tray
Blend chopped parsely and water in the blender to a fine green liquid. Add to ice cube tray. Freeze until solid. Take out of ice cube tray. Store in a ziplock bag in freezer.
This technique works well with any of your delicate leafy greens such as basil, tarragon or mint. Keep a few ice cubes in a small plastic container in your freezer door for easy use.
