My latest favorite tool-
Parsley Ice Cubes are a fantastic tool to have in your toolbox. With ten minutes of prep you can add a big spoonful of flavor to your food over the cold winter season. Delightful parsley is loaded with vitamin C and chlorophyll, making it health enhancing as well as tasty. Parsley ice cubes are easy to make and simple to use. Just throw a few ice cubes into any heated pot and wait for them to melt. Voila! One more way to make great tasting vegan, low glycemic and paleo friendly food.
Fresh herbal flavor all year round
I buy our fresh organic produce from a local C.S.A. That means we are forced to eat in accordance with what is in season. Even though I can buy parsley in the winter I love the taste and organic aspect of my C.S.A. parsley. When I tried drying the parsley it became crumbly and lost all of it’s flavor. Freezing my fresh parsley into ice cubes works way better. They are easy to produce, economical and using them makes my food taste amazing.
Super Fast and Easy-
The procedure is so simple: Wash the herb, chop, blend with water, freeze into ice cubes and Voila! An organized, healthy way to pack more flavor into your meals.
How to use-
Simply add a few Parsley Ice Cubes to your pan while cooking. Allow them to melt completely. Check the temperature of your food as the ice cubes will cool it down.
