It’s New Years soon
New Years-keeping it real in 2018. Now that it is almost New Years I wanted to check in with my community. I am happy to report that this is our 56th post and the six month anniversary of launching my blog, L.S. Livewell. This had been a fantastic experience for me, fulfilling dreams that I have nurtured for over twenty years.
Making a list, checking twice
New Years 2018 is a time of reckoning for me. I usually put together two lists, one looking back at year 2017, one looking towards year 2018. Today I have thoughts about L.S.Livewell that I would like to share. Cut, cut, making some exciting changes! Going forward I plan to focus on one topic per month, changing up “Well Said” and producing an e book.
As I like to really get in there with my topics and have a hard time restraining myself, I will now use an entire month to focus on one subject, featuring a weekly post about that topic. This is a way that I can give you a lot of information: about the ingredients, the history and the shortcut hacks.
“Well Said” focus
As I learn more about blogging I see that to progress one needs to focus deeply. For this reason I am trying something new in 2018 with our “Well Said” posts. Personally, I love to write this column and enjoy presenting pictures of nature and New York City. Because L.S. Livewell is a health and wellness blog, there is a slight conflict with those subjects, which I don’t think fit with the overall theme. I am not getting rid of these topics entirely, I am just re-considering where to put them, so please let me know what you think, too.
And a book too
I am also working on my first e-book. This will be available for all of my regular subscribers as a free gift to my community. I should be finished by the end of January 2018. I am very, very excited about the format of ebooks, and hope to create more books in the future. Things are so very easy these days, you think about it, work on it, proofread it, and bingo, you are an author, a publisher! Hooray! This feels cool and empowering.
You guys are great!
I am entering the New Years time feeling so grateful to my friends that have subscribed, my family who has been supportive, and encouraging, as well as many strangers who I hope will become a vital part of my community. As you go on your journey I hope that you will experience security, abundance and joy in all things in the New Year, 2018. A heartfelt thanks for your good company.
